As we enter into the national tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving, I want to remind you, first of all, that every day is a day of Thanksgiving. God is just so awesome! Truly, I can empathize with whoever initiated the phrase, "If I had 10,000 tongues, I just couldn't praise Him enough." God's been just that good. I'm reminded of Paul's words to the church at Philippi in Philippians 3:14, "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." We know that Paul's ultimate goal is to become so close to Jesus that he can empathize with what our savior felt in the process of going to Calvary.
