"Job well done!" is what we all like to hear after the completion of an assignment, task or project. Those three brief words will leave you with a warm feeling of satisfaction and success. Each step we complete serves as the rung to allow us a foothold to our next place of advancement.

May I commend and congratulate you for completing steps towards your goals and aspirations! Please do not become discouraged or disappointed because the whole project did not get completed in 2008. Do not discredit yourself because your hopes in getting the entire job done went up in smoke. Do not walk the plank with thoughts of jumping overboard because you do not feel like you met the mark. Thank God for the steps you have completed and trust God for the final touch!

The year 2008 was a promising year of new beginnings and fresh starts. We have seen God supernaturally lead His women of grace into new doors that heretofore would have seemed impossible or unattainable. Some of you have advanced onto new platforms in the church and in society. Others have made divine connections that have propelled you to a higher level of promotion in the market-place. Improvements, successes and new opportunities were the caviar for the "2008 New Year" believers!

"What about the parts left undone?" you may ask.  "Did I fail because December 31st has struck its last bell chord on the clock of time and I still have unfinished work in front of me?"  The answer is absolutely NO you have not failed. You are still working to finish.

In my studies I discovered that the number "nine" is not the full or complete but it does mark the ending. It is the last of the single digits in our decimal numbering system. Thus it can represent the conclusion or ending of a matter.  Since the number nine represent finality and judgment, I want to encourage each preaching, teaching and leading woman to stay focused as you allow the Lord to help you conclude the matter!

The book of Ecclesiastes ends with these words..."Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man's all. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil." Chapter 12: 13, 14

The Bible says that "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."  Philippians 1:6  What God has started in you...He is able to finish it through you!  You will stand back and look at the finished product and say viola because all you needed was that last  finishing touch!

Your new start has met its final touch and you must continue towards your next level of fruitfulness for 2009!Therefore, women, "walk worthy of your call with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:1(b), 2 & 3.

Know that I am praying for you that this year the Kingdom of darkness will know  that you are alive and well because each footstep will declare a finished blessing!!
