It's Time To Get Your Edge Back!

I once heard Dr. Myles Munroe say, that one of the wealthiest places in the whole wide world is the cemetery. And the context of the statement was to suggest that there are so many people who leave this dispensation of life full of visions, goals, and dreams that they never accomplish. However, I believe that one of the wealthiest places in the whole wide world right now, is right where you are sitting. Yes, I'm talking about you! Find out more about YOU inside!

God has embedded so many visions, ideas, goals, and concepts within you that that are waiting to be birthed, but you can't figure out how to get started.  Or, you may have started on some things in which you started out strong, full of zeal and excitement, but somewhere along the line, you've lost your focus, you've lost your tenacity.  Perhaps, you've abandoned the times where you used to day dream and see yourself exactly as the person you know God called you to be. You may feel like you've lost that "thing" that makes you tick, your "personal magnetism" a.k.a.  your "Mojo."  Sometimes you feel like you have lost your "Edge."

However, I'm reminded of 2 Kings 6:1-7, the parable of the Loss of the Iron Axhead.  Here a group of prophets set out to build new quarters for themselves and Elisha to reside. But, in the midst of one of the prophets chopping a tree in order to contribute to the building of the quarters, his borrowed ax head fell into the water.  He could have given up and lost heart at the fear of feeling like it was impossible to get the axhead back. But, he called on his master, and the master (Elisha) cast a stick into the water and the iron axhead did float back to the surface and he was able to get it back.

Understand that the prophet's progress of chopping down the tree was stopped when he lost his axhead with the sharp edge.  He could have given up, but he chose to go after the sharp axhead.

Therefore, I want to encourage you that we are in a season where we must make a decision to continue in the "Spirit of Accomplishment." There are so many things that you need to accomplish, but your progress has been stopped because you've lost you edge.  But, just like the prophet, you've got to get your edge back!

Whatever it is that causes you to make progress toward building and enlarging your territory, you must get it back.  Your edge could be your joy, peace, family, friends, time, etc. Whatever it is, seek the master and "Get Your Edge Back!" This is the season of accomplishment!

A    God Bless You!
