PreachingWoman.com, a new and exciting online web portal for preaching women has attracted over 13,000 visitors since its induction on the World Wide Web, October 1, 2007. The launch started off with a bang, spotlighting the preaching and singing powerhouse, Evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole, of the legendary Clark Sisters. Plus, former hip-hop MC, turned best-selling author, Dr. Deborah Hooper is part of the elite team of writers and contributors to the site.
The ministry etiquette tips, inspirational articles, and exceptional resources are all the rage among preaching women.
When women in ministry began hearing the buzz about this new online destination exclusively geared toward helping them enhance, promote, and fine-tune their ministries, they rallied around the site.
Although the launch happened just weeks ago, the history of PreachingWoman.com dates all the way back to 2003 when Nichelle Early, Founder and Editor-In-Chief, was first inspired by God to create the new media platform.
For a long time, Early has recognized the large disparity in the number of online outlets specifically catering to Christian women in ministry. She felt the call of God to create and utilize PreachingWoman.com as a medium to help bridge the gap. That's why the site focuses on progressive, successful, preaching women, who are on the cutting-edge of ministry.
When asked about the specific purpose of the site, she said, "It's an evangelism tool. It's a means of helping believers more effectively win souls for the Kingdom of God."
Early is passionate about reaching the lost for Christ; she is resolved to help as many people as she can accomplish this same goal. "As God is calling more preaching women to the forefront, I desire to educate and equip them to operate in excellence on the ministry platform. I want to use PreachingWoman.com to inspire and encourage not only African American women in ministry, but those from all races, denominations, and cultures," said Early in a recent interview.
Although PreachingWoman.com is her latest venture, her ministry is multi-faceted, spilling over into the areas of: Public Relations, Training and Development, Human Resources and Recruitment, and more.
