Joel 1:13 "Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God."
There is a clarion call from the throne to the heart of every woman preacher and that is the call to fall. Fall? Yes FALL. God hath issued a call for every woman preacher to fall on her face and pray.
When women prostrate themselves and pray, Heaven hears an anthem of worship; a symphonic petitioning; a thunderous howl and a melody that is only heard when a preaching woman prays. The Lord delights in the sound of our voices. He glories in the sound of our prayers.
Women pray not just with passion, but women pray in great detail. When we begin to speak to the Lord about our plight, our children (natural and spiritual), our secrets, our church, our ministry, our jurisdiction, the people, our homes and the vision God hath birthed in our souls, we don't casually gloss over the petition - we paint a vivid picture in our discourse with our Father. We leave no stone unturned when we pray. It is because women pray in detail that God calls us to pray when the nation of God is under vicious and violent attack.
Jeremiah 9:17-24 "17Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come: 18And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters. 19For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out. 20Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation. 21For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets. 22Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them. 23Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD."
God could have chosen our XY chromosomed counterparts to do this kind of warfare. He could have chosen men to stand in gap at a season when 'death had come up into the windows' but He chose us. Our young men are cut off in the streets and it is our mandate to pray them back into the House, back to God and back to life. What an honor! Not only is it our call and spiritual obligation, God commissioned us as generals in prayer because He knew that the wail would go from our bellies to issue a release and a loosing in Heaven so that deliverance would be loosed in the earth realm. He knew that the howl from the depth of our souls would hit Hell with such ferocity that the ambushment and onslaught would terrorize and terrify the catacombs of Hell to force a release everything that had been stolen.
We are emotional, passionate and sensitive by design. We were so fashioned that we are easy to cry; sensitive to hurts; detailed in our recollection of events; gentle by nature and loving by purpose, with purpose on purpose. Who BETTER to be called to the forefront of Prayer Warfare than us?
The Lord has been waking you up in the wee hours of the morning for just this purpose. God has been disturbing your times of slumber to get you birth a nation of warriors. The earth is groaning for deliverance and you and YOU alone can bring it from the spirit realm into this realm.
