The Destiny Diva!

Wow! Where has all the time gone? I stand in total amazement at how fast this year has progressed. The adage, "Time waits for no one" certainly bears true. How has this year been for you? Have you seen God at work like never before? Are you still standing on His promises for this to be the Year of Manifestation, (if that's what He's spoken to you)? Read more inside...
Happy New Year! I pray that this year will be as much of a blessing for you as you can possibly stand. Last year, I stood firm on the affirmation, "It shall be well in 2012." I did so after embracing the fact that the number 12 represents order. As such, I took it personally and seriously that God would use the year 2012 to place the vital matters of my life in their rightful order. While I am still very much a work in progress, I am grateful for things lining up as well as they did in 2012. Read more inside...
don't know about anyone else, but I cannot believe the year 2012 has basically come and gone so quickly. Where did all the time go? As we ushered in the New Year, I embraced a winning attitude that proclaimed, "It SHALL be well in 2012." As such, I believed God for restoration and prosperity in every way. Now that the year is almost gone, I think now is an appropriate time to see how close we are to making the mark. Has this year been all that you wanted it to be? Did you receive your big breakthrough? Did things get better at all or are you still going in circles, facing the same problems that were there before? Find out what to do inside...
As we enter into the national tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving, I want to remind you, first of all, that every day is a day of Thanksgiving. God is just so awesome! Truly, I can empathize with whoever initiated the phrase, "If I had 10,000 tongues, I just couldn't praise Him enough." God's been just that good. He's been far better to me than I could ever be to myself. Read more inside...
I came across an interesting quote the other day that really made me think. It said, "The best way to prepare for life is to begin to live." How true! Unfortunately, far too many people cannot live life to its fullest because of their preoccupation with the stuff and things that make up the circumstances of life: challenges with finances, employment, relationships, emotions, and so much more. When we begin to feel this way, it is imperative that we remember who we are and whose we are. Read more inside...
I'm reminded of Paul's words to the church at Philippi in Philippians 3:14, "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." We know that Paul's ultimate goal is to become so close to Jesus that he can empathize with what our savior felt in the process of going to Calvary. At the same time, his words offer encouragement as we press toward our destiny. This month, I'd like to offer three nuggets that will help us press for success: Press up, press in and press on. It's always a joy and an honor to present insight on ways to help you reach your greatest potential in the Lord. I am fully persuaded that God desires for you to win. The Word of God is full of reassurance of this fact. But how does one move from dream to destiny? Well, there are a number of steps that must be taken. Perhaps one of the most profound that we must realize is that it's a team effort. Read more inside...
I will admit that this month's topic is something I probably thought I'd never actually write about...at least not anytime soon. But after reading a blog entitled, "Can God Use a Divorced Person," I felt compelled to share my story. I felt this way because I thought the title of the blog that I saw was really not the smartest question to ask. Yet, when I thought about the many feelings I had as I was going through my own divorce, I could wholeheartedly empathize. [And, whether we like it or not, divorce is a reality, even in the Body of Christ.] Thus, this blog is written to serve as a source of strength to those who may be feeling guilty, indecisive, confused, or whatever way as a result of the issue of divorce. So, in response to the question, "Can God Use a Divorced Person," my answer is an absolute yes. Read more inside...
Once again, I count it a privilege and an honor to share with you this month. You may recall that at the beginning of this year, I made a declaration of, "It shall be well in 2012." I meant that from the bottom of my heart. And although I am walking in total anticipation, I must tell you that I am in complete awe of what our Heavenly Father has already done for His children in the first quarter of the year. I have seen people receive a new lease on life through gainful employment, restored relationships and business breakthroughs. As for me personally, God has enlarged my territory in such a way that things that I've been in prayer about for years are now at my fingertips. How great is our God!
The bells and whistles have all sounded their alarms. It is February 1, 2012, the first day of Black History month! Yessssss!!!! I can't wait to see what's being posted out in Cyber Space to commemorate this most noteworthy time of year. Yet, when I open my browser, I cannot believe my eyes. Find out more inside...
